According to the statistics released by the Central Bureau of Statistics of Republic of Croatia, its import and export trade from Jan. to Nov.2007 amounted to US.874 billion, up by 20.6% than that in the previous year, out of which the import was US$ 23.59 billion and export was US.29 billion, up by 20.1% and 21.5% respectively. Trade deficit amounted to US.3 billion, up by 18.8%.
From Jan. to Nov.2007, the total amount of China-Croatia trade was US.49 billion, up by 41.5% than that in 2006, which made China the 7th biggest trade partner of Croatia. Croatia’s import from China amounted to US$ 1.47 billion, while its export to China was US1.47 million, up by 41.6% and 34.2% respectively. China became the 4th biggest import sources of Croatia after Italy, Germany and Russia.
