ST. PETERSBURG, Jun 09, Interfax-BNS - The volume of freight traffic to Estonia by railway has not changed much, Russian Railroads CEO Vladimir Yakunin told reporters in St. Petersburg on Saturday.
"Russian Railroads is meeting all the applications for crude and petroleum product transportation to the Baltic republics. The company can get 20-22 pairs of trains to Estonia per day," he said.
Annual cargo traffic to Estonia will amount to 20 million tons, Yakunin said.
Russian Railroads started repairs on a section of the Oktyabrskaya railway on May 1, changing the schedule of crude deliveries to Estonia as a result.
